What should I do when teacher and student grades do not match?

Updated 1 year ago by Amy Brown

Have you ever wondered why your student has a different score when he shows you his computer screen compared to what’s recorded in your USATestprep gradebook? More than likely, the student has temporarily altered the score on his page using a built-in feature on every browser called ”Inspect” or “Inspect Element.” Students can change the appearance of their screen, such as their score, and submit a screenshot as “proof.”

Rest assured that students are not hacking the database, and their scores are still accurate in your account. Ask the student to refresh the page, and the temporary display change will be removed. Watch this video to see the attempted hack in action.

How did we do?
